Las Lomas High School is a public high school in Walnut Creek, United States, California. It was established by the Acalanes Union High School District in 1951, and opened its doors to its first graduating class in the fall of 1952. Las Lomas was the second of five schools founded within the District of Acalanes Union High School. It is a traditional high school, serving grades 9-12, and has a legacy of distinction in both athletics and education. The school has a good preparatory college program as well as several extracurricular programmes. The school colors are maroon and gold and Knight is the school mascot. Las Lomas in 2011-12 had 1,482 students. The school has a graduation rate of 96.4 per cent, with about 97 per cent of its graduates attending college. A.S. In 2013, the Nation ranked Las Lomas # 372 in News & World Report. In 2008 it was designated a National Blue Ribbon School.

For the 2016-17 academic year, the percentage of students attaining Math skills is 52 per cent (which is higher than the California state average of 38 per cent). For the 2016-17 academic year, the percentage of students attaining reading / language arts skills is 70 percent (which is higher than the California state average of 48 percent).

Las Lomas High School has put average test scores in the top 20 percent of all schools in California (math ability is top 30 percent, and reading skill is top 20 percent) for the school year 2016-17.  The 21:1 student: teacher ratio is lower than the 23:1 State level in California. This school treats homework effectively. The school loop network informs students as well as parents about the assignments due. There is interaction with teachers on the same place. It has very experienced teachers who are keen on helping their students learn. Leadership is good at this school.  Students get interested in activities and sports clubs.
