Laptop Lounge Expands Space and Services to Meet Growing Needs of East Bay Entrepreneurs and Service Professionals
In recent years the number of self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs has skyrocketed and Laptop Lounge, a Walnut Creek shared workspace and coworking community has been on the forefront of that trend. As an alternative workspace for entrepreneurs and work-from-home professionals, Laptop Lounge provides the local small business community much needed alternative shared workspace, conference rooms, and private offices. On January 7, 2015 Laptop Lounge celebrated an expansion of space and services with a ribbon cutting by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce. With the expansion, Laptop Lounge is now positioned to meet the growing needs of the East Bay entrepreneurial community with eight new dedicated desks with locked storage and extended hours for entrepreneurs who want more privacy and flexibility.
“The community is responding to what we’re offering and we want to make sure we’re well positioned to provide what they need. We’ve been experiencing an increased demand for dedicated workstations with private meeting space,” explained Victor Mataraso, Founder & President of Laptop Lounge and its sister company Reliable Receptionist. Once Mr. Mataraso decided to expand the Laptop Lounge facilities, he relied on member feedback to ensure the space would continue to meet the community’s need.
“We are finding that more and more service professionals, such as lawyers, CPAs, coaches, and consultants are ridding themselves of the more traditional office, but still need a place to conduct business outside their home office so they can maximize productivity and meet with clients. With dedicated workstations and private meeting rooms, we expect those professionals to be the first to take advantage of the expansion,” commented Laptop Lounge Community Manager Leslie Reitzes.

About Laptop Lounge
Laptop Lounge provides business owners, entrepreneurs, and home office professionals an address to use for their business, a great place to come work with as-needed office space and support services, and a community of “coworkers” to alleviate the isolation sometimes associated with working independently. Founder Victor Mataraso wanted to give people, “a better way to work,” envisioning Laptop Lounge as a place where people could work in a more relaxed, café-style atmosphere – without the distractions of a café. Additionally, by providing professional support services, a community of coworkers, educational opportunities, and networking functions, Laptop Lounge provides an environment that allows entrepreneurs to thrive.
