If you're looking to start your own business or just want a flexible way to work from home, coworking spaces are the perfect solution. But with all of these choices, how do you find the right one for you? We've compiled a list of our top 3 questions that should help!
1.Questions about the Technology Platform
Would you be able to keep your company afloat without reliable internet? When it comes down to the wire, do not settle for vague answers like "bandwidth is 'super fast'" or "nobody has ever had a problem with network security". Instead of giving generic responses, take this time and ask questions about what type of connection speeds are available. Make sure that there will always be enough bandwidth so as long as one person in your office isn't watching Netflix at once!
- Is it secure?
- Will I be on a public network?
- What is the guarantee for bandwidth?
2.What exactly is included?
Aside from ensuring that you comprehend the total cost, this information should be compared to what you truly require. Another vendor may have provided a free product or service while making it appear significant or generous... But why should it matter if you don't need it? Prior to visiting, make a list of your needs and wants and be willing to communicate that information. What are your current whereabouts? So, how does that look? How do you go about your business? What do you want to be when you grow up? What are you lacking right now?) Are you anticipating expansion, and if so, when? Everything should be told to the sales manager. They should be curious.
3.Will my budget cover everything I need?
Don’t be afraid to talk about the budget. The sales manager SHOULD want to know the scope of your entire need (including telecom, meeting rooms, additional technology services, etc.), so that you can start with everything you need at a price that works for you. Holding back what your budget is will likely only cause problems down the road as you add services. The easiest way to feel ‘nickeled and dimed’ is to not have a plan of action or package in place. Known costs will help your budgeting and monthly expenses.
Average Cost Of A Co-Working Space
The average cost for renting an individual office cubicle with at least two walls is $600/month. That price can vary depending on how many people share each cube, what companies provide it, etc. But if you want to spend less than this amount then check out these options: shared desk spaces (around $400), private offices ($450-$550), or even serviced apartments that include everything but your bedroom! At first glance, the differences may not seem vast... Until you consider other costs like internet service($25-$100 monthly).
How many people work in a coworking space?
Typically, coworking spaces can hold anywhere from 100 to 3000 people. The more flexible it is, the more expensive it will be.
Is co-working a new thing?
Coworking has been around for a while now and there have been many changes in how they work! For example, today's modern-day coworking space allows you to set your own hours as well as find networking opportunities through their website or events calendar.
Why is co-working space in demand nowadays?
The demand for coworking spaces has increased in recent years because people are more interested in working together - whether it be a one-time event or on a regular basis. It's also become standard as companies want to hire employees that can work remotely and/or with different teams around the world while still being able to collaborate at times when they need to. And finally, many startups have begun using these types of offices so there is less pressure on them financially since not only do they share some costs but they also get advice from other entrepreneurs who may know what works best (i.e.How much time should I allocate each day for marketing?).
Coworking spaces are becoming more popular as the number of people working from home continues to rise. Looking for a new place where you can work in peace and with other like-minded individuals? Check out these three questions before visiting your next coworking space!
