Rankin Park is at the west end of Buckley Street with 41 acres of land. The place has a swimming and diving facility, the picnic area, the horseshoe pit, the softball field, the restroom, the playground and the gazebo.
This park looks brand new and has a large picnic area with barbecues, a gazebo, separate small and large children's areas, and an iconic gazebo. This place is lovely, a little secluded, but very quiet. It will be a perfect spot for a barbecue for a birthday party or a weekend!
They have been coming here for years! Kids love it! They're all sweet and polite. A great park for locals and a fun quick hike up the hill with girls!
Over the years, the management of the city has done a decent job of developing the park. The park itself is lovely and, most notably, tidy. There are a few different places for picnics that are available for rent. There are kitchens in certain picnic areas that individuals may use to prepare their lunches or snacks. There are reasonably large tables in the picnic areas that can host a large group of friends and family.
For individuals to play catch, soccer, basketball, there are grassy fields. Even kids can play frisbees, too. To keep the children busy, there is also a playground while the adults get their skin sun-kissed. Bathrooms are situated in a central position between picnic areas that are strategically designed to accommodate both sexes. As there are numerous parking spaces, parking has never been a problem.
The playground is all new and has cool designs that are a perfect place to get the wiggles out for the girls. With all the seating and barbecue pits, the scenery back on the hill is incredibly clean. With a crank to lift the grill to your desired height above the coals, the pits themselves are double-sized and easy to use. Also, the baseball field is tidy and well-kept. When you enter the park's grounds, there are several swimming pools. Up the hill sides, there are numerous hiking trails.
Rankin Park is home to the Rankin Aquatic Park Center. This aquatic center provides swimming lessons, lap swimming and water aerobics, pool parties and lifeguard classes that are perfect for both kids and children. The pool itself, ideally located in the park, is big and attractive. In addition, professional lifeguards are well-maintained and well-guarded by the lake.
Rankin Park, in reality, is a great park for sports lovers, children and adults. While in the park, there are a number of things that can be performed. You can either play sports, swim, play with the kids or just lie down on the green grasses while reading books or catching the heat of the sun.
