Susie Garcia is a Food and Wine Specialist and an Ambassador with The Boisset Collection. As a Wine Ambassador, Susie can present fine wines to fellow wine lovers and discuss lifestyle balance and healthy Food & Wine pairings. Her motto is “Living Healthy is Fun,” and she has a passion for getting that message to as many people as she can. She is also a “super – connector” and loves to connect and be connected to friends and colleagues.
Susie is a Registered Dietitian and received a degree in Nutrition and a minor in Business from North Dakota State University and completed her internship at Texas A&M. She began her career in Texas as a Clinical Dietitian. Her love of business, marketing and sales led her to the Pharmaceutical Sales industry for 5 years and later she became Director of Research & Development for a food manufacturing company.
She moved to California in 2006 and started her own company, taking on physician referred clients and corporate contracts. She worked with Nike, Visa, Safeway, Genentech and Warner Brothers Studios. She also began to study fine wine and learn wine & food pairings.
As Susie continued to grow her network and work with her clients, she discovered that while her clients want to lead a healthy lifestyle, they just don’t want to “give up” their wine.
Because of her marketing background, Susie recognized this opportunity as a way to help other entrepreneurs and business owners promote their business and increase their sphere of influence with corporate gifts, Custom Wine Labels, and private wine tastings.
Susie joined Laptop Lounge because she needed a place to hold her food and wine tasting events. “Having a clean modern, centrally located and well known event space is a great perk of membership,” says Susie. “I also love that Laptop Lounges markets my events to their many followers. I love connecting people, and Laptop Lounge helps me get my message out to a larger audience.” Susie also enjoys our shared workspace over her traditional office because she likes to stand when she works, and Laptop Lounge provides several standing desk options, a healthier alternative to sitting all day.
