To verify your business listing by phone:Â
Desktop
- Sign in to Google My Business.Â
- Choose the business you’d like to verify, then click Verify now.
- Make sure that you can directly answer your business phone number to receive your verification code.
- Click Verify by phone to have the code sent to your phone via automated message.
- Enter the code from the message.
Mobile
- Open the Google My Business app.
- Tap Call me now.
- Enter the code from the message and tap the arrow icon.
Your business details will be able to appear live on Google Maps, Search, and other Google resources once you've entered your code.
By email, check a company listing (available for select businesses)
For all firms, email authentication isn't available. If you do not see this option when you try to verify it, try another form of verification.
Make sure you can reach the email address displayed on the verification screen before seeking verification by email.
Desktop
After you have built your listing if you return to verify, visit Google My Company, select the business you want to verify and click Verify now.
- Click Email from the list of verification options.
- Check your email.
- Click the Verify button in the verification email. (You can also enter the code from the email in your Google My Business dashboard.)Â
Mobile
If you want to check again, open the Google My Business app or go to https://business.google.com and select the company that you want to verify.
- Tap Send an email.
- Check your email.
- Tap Enter code, then enter the code from the email.
- Tap Submit.Â
Your business data will be able to appear live on Google Maps, Search, and other Google resources once you've entered your code.
Instantly verify a business listing (available for select businesses)
If you have already reviewed the Google Search Console website for your company, your business listing might be eligible for immediate verification.
Make sure you're signed in to Google My Business with the same account you used to check your Search Console site to immediately verify your business listing. For instant verification, certain business categories can not be eligible.
Bulk verification (available for businesses with 10+ locations)
If you manage 10 or more of the same company's locations, bulk verification can be available for your business listings. How to verify in bulk 10 or more locations
You will see a banner asking you to review your details and make any final changes once you have checked your business listing. When you're confident everything is up to date, press Done Editing.
You will not be able to change the name of the organization until the verification process is completed.
