Dogs?

Yes, although leash rules vary depending on what section you are in and rangers recommend dogs remain on leash at all times.

In the field around the North Lime Hill, north of Ygnacio, dogs must always be under positive voice and sight command or leashed at all times. Dogs chasing cattle can be a serious issue because cattle graze in this area. There have been some negative dog vs. coyote encounters recently when dogs stray too close near dens.

No dogs are allowed at any time in the center section of Lime Ridge south of Ygnacio. This is the area around Lime Ridge Wildlife Preserve. Once again dogs are allowed south of the Preserve but only on leash.
