Furnishing our walls here at Laptop Lounge is a beautiful piece of art by Nash Quest, a 24 year old artist from the Bay Area. Titled “Big Business”, Nash describes his work as “a depiction of the white collar corporate empire.”  We feel there is so much underlying meaning in this painting. With the dark, dreary sky, and the corporate clones, this piece encompasses the dread embodied in the white collar workforce. We envision bosses tying their employees down to their own, strict standards of work, forcing them into the boxed-in lifestyle of tight cubicles. Fortunately, our coworking community here at Laptop Lounge doesn’t have to deal with any of the grim aspects of corporate America. If you ever get caught up or stressed while working in the Lounge, just look at this picture and remind yourself how fortunate you are to be working independently.  Thanks Nash!
